Well this is me on the right, I have been shooting photography for over 25 years. I started shooting professionaly back in 1996 as a part time wedding photographer. 4 years ago I decided to do this full time and I have not looked back. This year was another huge milestone for us, in May we opened a new 1500 sqft studio in Macomb. To the left is my beautiful Daughter and wife, who without their support all my efforts would not be possible. I have been so blessed to have a family that not only supports my career, but also gave me the courage to finally open a storefront.

I spent 5 years in the Marine Corps right out of high school. I was an avionics tech on CH53-E helicopters and was stationed in Southern California at Tustin Airbase. While in the Marine's is really when my love for photography blossomed. I would take my camera everywhere, photographing everyone and everything. I started shooting events and portraits for a small newspaper, that is where I honed my skills even farther. I opened Schaffer Photography in 1996 in Cleveland, Ohio shooting weddings. I then transfered to Michigan and worked for Chrysler as a Product Development Engineer until 2008. That is when I decided to do photography full time.
